Inventory receiving and handling
Good fulfillment starts at the dock. We unload, count, check and organize every inbound shipment so your inventory records match what is really on the shelf.
Why receiving quality matters
Most inventory problems start at receiving. If cartons are miscounted, mislabeled or put away in the wrong place, every later step — picking, Amazon shipments, reorders — inherits the error. Our team unpacks, verifies and organizes your stock quickly and carefully so it is ready to pick and ship.
What we check on arrival
We compare what arrives against your paperwork: SKU, carton count, unit count where required, and visible condition. If something doesn't match — a short shipment, damaged cartons, missing labels — we document it and let you know so you can resolve it with your supplier or carrier quickly.
For international shipments, receiving is where your goods officially enter our care after customs clearance. Good labeling at origin (SKU, quantity and carton number on every box) makes receiving faster and cheaper. Our guide on shipping inventory to a US warehouse explains how to prepare.

Frequently asked questions
What is an ASN?
An advance shipping notice (ASN) is a list of what you are sending — SKUs, quantities, number of cartons and pallets, and carrier/tracking details. Sending one before your shipment arrives speeds up receiving and helps us catch discrepancies.
Can you receive floor-loaded containers?
Yes. Floor-loaded (unpalletized) containers and trailers can be unloaded and palletized. See our transloading page for container work.
What happens if my shipment arrives damaged or short?
We document what we see, report it to you, and hold the affected goods for your instructions so you can file claims with your supplier or carrier.
